I've spent over a decade working with the world's best engineering teams at companies like Airbnb and Loom. Throughout my career, I've discovered that the difference between good teams and great teams isn't raw talent—it's how they leverage tools and automation.
Now I help engineering teams adopt the 10x developer mindset by building custom automation infrastructure that eliminates friction and multiplies their impact.
I started writing code at 14, was building multiplayer web games with websockets at 16, and committed to a computer science major at 18.
After school I entered the world of startups, where I soon met my career-mentor, Anton Kropp. I remember realizing the profound difference a skilled engineer obsessed with developer experience can make on a team - I watched our engineering org start shipping actually 10x faster with his influence.
In 2018 I started my first startup, selling niche outdoor trips on a marketplace. I spent 6 months building a heavy webapp, had maybe 20 users, but made 5 sales! I was having a blast, but some unexpected health challenges forced me to pivot and join established companies for stability.
Since then I've worked embedded in product teams at Airbnb, Loom, Pinwheel, Hightouch. I've seen some of the best engineers do incredible work, but I've also seen companies unable to ship due to bad developer experience, missing observability, or just poor execution. At each company, I noticed the same pattern: the highest-performing engineers weren't just writing better code - they were building tools that made everyone else faster.
In the start of 2025 I started a new business, https://block-spot.com, where I started to really play with AI-native tooling. I was able to build a production grade web-app in 2 months, and started getting really excited about AI tooling. Then, when ChatGPT-4o came out with image generation, I made a new business https://webmarkup.io - this time in two weeks.
I believe AI + automation will unlock thousands of hours for most white-collar work, and in 2025 developers have a unique ability to pick up powerful tools. Just like any revolution in tech the process won't always be pretty, but the upside can't be ignored.
Now I help businesses implement the same automation strategies that 10x engineers use at top tech companies - turning your entire team into force multipliers.
Our partners engage on a project basis. They are true 10x engineers with deep experience building tools that multiply impact.
Anton Kropp brings over 20 years of engineering expertise across the startup ecosystem, from seed-stage companies to late-series growth phases. As a staff engineer at Stripe, he specialized in infrastructure and service mesh tooling, gaining deep experience with large-scale distributed systems challenges. His background includes rebuilding service architectures to eliminate deployment bottlenecks and unifying complex technical systems across multiple engineering teams.
Most notably, Anton was a founding technical contributor at a fintech startup where he helped scale the platform from initial prototype to processing over $500 million in transactions. He was present for the first Git commit and guided the technical architecture through hypergrowth from 4 to 50 employees while navigating the stringent regulatory requirements of financial services. This experience crystallized his expertise in building resilient, compliant systems that can scale rapidly without accumulating crippling technical debt.
Anton specializes in strong type systems, functional programming principles, and creating sustainable engineering practices that multiply team productivity. His approach emphasizes intentional architectural decisions, comprehensive automation, and building technical foundations that support long-term growth rather than short-term speed.
Great engineers don't work harder. They build systems that multiply their impact.
The best teams invest in their tooling. Custom automation beats generic solutions every time.
Theory is worthless without execution. I build real tools that deliver measurable results.
